Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Ana Trišić-Babić met with the Commander of NATO Headquarters Sarajevo David B. Enyeart

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Ana Trišić-Babić, met on September 1, 2010 with the Commander of NATO Headquarters Sarajevo, Brigadier General David B. Enyeart. On this occasion, she thanked General Enyeart for the support NATO Headquarters in Sarajevo provides to BiH and handed him a draft of the Annual National Plan (ANP), made by NATO Coordination Team of the BiH Council of Ministers.

General Enyeart reminded that, at the informal meeting of NATO Foreign Ministers held in April this year in Tallinn, Bosnia and Herzegovina was granted NATO Membership Action Plan (MAP), provided that the issues of military property are resolved. He pointed out that NATO does not look for the culprit or blames any side for not fulfilling conditions, as recently reported by some media in BiH, but that this is a question that must be addressed and that he expects BiH authorities to reach an agreement and enable the application of MAP.

Deputy Minister Trišić-Babić pointed out that NATO membership is one of the BIH  foreign policy goals, and informed that NATO Coordination Team of the BiH Council of Ministers, which is led by her, will continue with their activities in order to reach that goal. She stated that BiH will continue to progress on the path of Euro-Atlantic integration and demonstrate that it is ready to meet the challenges and fulfill its commitments.
