Diplomatic Relations Established Between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Fiji
The ceremony of the Joint Declaration ratification on establishing diplomatic relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Fiji was organized at the premises of the Permanent Mission of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the UN on April 20th, 2010. The Joint Declaration was ratified by the Ambassador, Mr. Ivan Barbalić, Permanent Representative of B&H to the UN and the Ambassador, Mr. Peter Thomson, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Fiji to the UN.In the course of their conversation, upon the ratification of the Joint Declaration ceremony, the Ambassador Thompson congratulated the Ambassador Barbalić on a prosperous choice of Bosnia and Herzegovina for a non-permanent member country to the UN Security Council, and talking about Fiji’s candidacy for the same membership, he emphasized how he appreciated the B&H experiences during its preparation time for the membership as well as our country’s experience during its membership to the Security Council. They have also exchanged their opinions on the current issues within the scope of the UN as well as on the potentials for improving cooperation between the two countries. |
