Diplomatic relations established between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Uganda

Permanent Representative of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the United Nations, Ambassador Ivan Barbalić and Permanent Representative of Uganda to the United Nations, Ambassador Ruhakana Rugunda, signed on December 3, 2010 in New York, a Joint Statement on the establishment of diplomatic relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Uganda.

In an interview which was conducted on this occasion, the interlocutors exchanged views on the potential for developing bilateral cooperation, current issues within the United Nations, particularly considering the membership of both countries in the Security Council.

Both sides expressed their hope for bilateral exchange of visits at the high level in the future, which would give impetus for improvement of bilateral cooperation.
