Established diplomatic relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Honduras

Permanent Representative of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the United Nations, Ambassador Ivan Barbalić and Permanent Representative of the Republic of Honduras to the United Nations, Ambassador Mary Elizabeth Flores signed, on September 14, 2010, in New York, the Joint Statement on the establishment of diplomatic relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Honduras.

During the discussion that was conducted on this occasion, collocutors have exchanged their views on potentials for development of bilateral cooperation, particularly in the economic area and current issues within the United Nations.

Both sides expressed desire for bilateral exchange of visits at the high level in the future, which would give incentive to enhance bilateral cooperation.
