26 April 2010 Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. Sven Alkalaj, Welcomed Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mr. Manouchehr Mottaki
Minister Alkalaj has expressed our most sincere thanks to the people and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran for the support that they provided us in the most difficult moments for Bosnia and Herzegovina. He has expressed his belief that even the most complex issues could be solved through an intensive communication and dialogue, and that B&H supports problems’ solving through diplomatic channels. He stated that there is a vast area for economic cooperation which is in the best interest of both countries. Minister Mottaki has emphasized that it is of the mutual interest for both countries to enhance economic cooperation, the level of the trade exchange and investments, and in this sense he intends to encourage Iranian business sector to empower its presence in B&H. At the same time he stated that there are many good business opportunities for companies from Bosnia and Herzegovina on the Iranian market. He emphasized that the Islamic Republic of Iran strongly supports territorial integrity and sovereignty of Bosnia and Herzegovina. In the course of the meeting they have talked about current political issues in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Iran and they also have talked about important issues on the global level, and special attention has been given to potential development of economic relations between the two countries. Minister Mottaki placed an invitation to Minister Alkalaj to visit the Islamic Republic of Iran. |





Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. Sven Alkalaj headed on April 26th, 2010, the B&H MFA delegation at the meeting with the delegation of the Islamic Republic of Iran headed by Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mr. Manouchehr Mottaki.
